[Debate] Akali's Nerfed R1

I'm pretty sure the title would already seem like this is another "QQ muh waifu main got nerfed" post.

Nah. None of that. I was a little upset when they said the microstun was gonna poof, but now I kinda thought.

Okay, 0.5 seconds of hard CC on an already overloaded kit is understandably unfun to play against. I've set up 5-man wombos just from setting up the perfect 5-man stun from Shroud from the right angle. One can say it's even less enjoyable than Irelia's E since it's not even telegraphed.

But what about instead of that, make R1 have a similar effect to Kassadin's Q to soften the blow? As in it interrupts channels with a minuscule Silence? It doesn't immobilize since Channeled abilities render most champs immobile or slowed in some form regardless.

Just to make her not be completely curbstomped by Katarina, or to save her team from Malzahar/Warwick focusing another carry all game.

Heck. Even makes for a good disengage from a wombo with huge teamfight Ultis like Vel'koz, Nunu and Miss Fortune's. Think about it, she uses it to go in and pretty much has to burn Shroud/Shuriken/both to stay alive after going that deep.

You can gut the stun and make it targeted so she's actually touchable post-6, but don't make it completely useless otherwise. Her ability to interrupt channeled abilities is honestly not as broken as how she can perform sudden 5-man stun engages from an angle of her choice.

Edit: I have nothing against the other champs in that example. I didn't come here to QQ after getting wombo'd by some 30/0 Fortune nor did I get shitstomped by my actual main . I just don't want the usefulness of Akali's R1 to be a crumb of its former self since a part of its utility can still be salvaged in my opinion.
