Banshee Veil and Abyssal scepter..... WTF
is there a real thought reason for the swap between this 2 items??? they added AP to banshee's veil and removed AP from abyssal scepter, wich for some champions is like really destroying their build. Champions who used to rely on going face to face with enemy to deal more damage (lets say, Kassadin or Diana, for examples... mostly ap assasins) but who were not intended to be tanks, now have to get tank item (the new abyssal scepter is a tank item no matter where you look at it from) in order to obtain the passive effect of the item to secure that extra little bit of extra damage. Or champions who you wanted to build tank TANK, with Banshee's veil for that spell block now have to get some AP wich for many make no scence at all (rammus, mundo, udyr... yes, they have ap ratios, but they are not champions who go AP build, if that is the case, anything with ap ratios is good to go ap and i havent seen ap sivir or braum yet). The whole idea of swapping the 2 items makes no real scence to me and destroy builds that were usefull on champions before, what is the point of changing something that was working fine??? I havent meet a single player who is happy with the change at all (and i am not even start talking about the quest items (cough trash cough.. and i main support) or the champions rework, the 3 of them SUCK and are sooo unbalanced) this constant idea that riot has to "improve" is a nice goal, but when something is good and works fine, you dont improve it, otherwise you risk making it worst, wich you just did here guys. I honestly dont see the point of giving AP to a champion if you want the bansee veil shield, 100% of the champions benefit from the shield, but not 100% of the benefit from having AP, the same goes to the Abyssal scepter, as it is now, 100% of the champions benefit from the item, but not all of them are AP assasins or tanks who go in the middle of the fight.
line of items, but haven't had much difficulty acclimating.
is like tailor made for AP divers like
and
, likewise, the new
is great for tanks because it offers a debuff to nearby enemies, which they will typically have lots of in any fight their involved (tanks prefer to stick with teammates because they aren't capable of soloing enemies very well and Abyssal's passive makes nearby enemies take 10% more magic...that's not just from the tank himself, that helps his allies too). It's actually a pretty smart set of changes if you think about it.
rework which they actually admitted was a mistake and reverted it).
