NA Server Lag

Why does Riots server lag out for entire games at a time and we dont get Loss Prevented. last 2 games in a row both teams have been struggling just to move and Riot wont even Loss Prevented cause their servers suck?

That is the exact reason why i came here.... just played a terrible game if riot looks at the chat its everyone complaining about the lag... worst server lag game ever. And on top of that wasn't even a loss forgiven......

Same exact thing. Couldn't move, but can see everyone else moving. Lag was so bad it was like playing LOL as a turned based game when everyone else is playing real time. I knew that if I didn't restart my PC I would cause my team to lose. So I restarted my PC and went back in and it was fixed.

At the end of the game I got an "I Agree" message. Think there should be something were you can restart your pc and join without negative effects if you do so within an extremely short time. I mean Riot has stated they can tell what kind of leave/connect problem it is, so why are the ones that allow you to actually play being taken with extremely negative results.

Leaving/AFKing is one of the worst problems in LOL, but if a simple restart will fix it and allow me to actually play/assist my team instead of being dead weight and causing a 4v5 the whole game and team loss, I think there should be some kind of Leniency. Obviously if people do this often then its an abuse, but when you haven't done something like this in over a year, seems a bit harsh to see.

When I connected back, my lag was gone and team was a bit behind, but with me back, we came back and won the match. If I didn't do what I did, my team would have lost and it would have been an extremely unfun game and I would of been the sole cause of my teams loss.

I know the system isn't perfect and more players try to abuse it then actually help and come back for their team, but think it should be taken with a grain of salt for some circumstances.

If someone on my team was having this problem I would rather have them restart their PC really quick and reconnect to atleast try to fix it. Having a team member that cannot play hurts you whole team, but if they can fix it quick then it will be better then them just dying a lot due to lag. If it doesn't fix it the first time then its just bad luck for your team, but I think one try would be nice to help this problem.

I agree with these guys its unlike any lag i have ever had. my champ just stands there while i have normal ping and fps. Happening today only. Whats going on riot? Luckily I won my games but other champs were being affected by the same thing.

Exact same thing happened to me, it seems random as to which games it will affect as the one after my lag game was normal for me.

i heard NA server lagging right ? good ,so finally u know how does it feel to play on EUW ,its been like this for months that euw is lagging and they dont care but u NA players dont worry they will fix it for u guys asap ,they might even get a mystery skin to everyone of u to accept their apologies , but who cares about euw ? no nvrmind those european people let em lagg to death,gg riot wp

This is so real. Just played a game, most people were lagging really bad and freezing up. However, I think it's stupid to get Loss Prevention if both teams are lagging.

Last game, I had low ping, but all of my team experience the lag, like, can't move or do sh~t for 2 second. It's not the game that's lag, its just the champion, we use can't do anything, and watching the enemy team works fine and run over our body D:

It's happening on the PBE too. (But I kind of expected that. You can't expect everything to go smoothly on a public test server.)

I have a question for a Riot member. I have already sent an email to customer support but i am still waiting on a response. I played my first game of the day a little while ago. (it was ranked) I got bug splat 3 times in the first 10 or so minutes. I turned my computer off and got reconnected and was able to stay connected for the rest of the game. (it lasted 20 or so minutes) at the end of the game i got the notice that i was placed in the Low Priority Queue. I don't think that i should have to be in this queue considering i was reconnected for so long, and it was bugsplat. Is there a way a Riot member can get me out of the Low Priority Queue?

Best way to fix it is to buy more stuff from Rito. Logically, if you bought zero RP, Rito shouldn't even acknowledge your presence.

Really weird, I was playing with someone on the same internet connection as me. My connection and game is fine, his lags out every 20 seconds or so to the point where he can't even move for a few seconds, much of the time.

Yah I have had alot of issues too! I went down a rank because of it. Granted i went from B4 to B5.. so no real loss there. Still annoying though.

You guys think riot gives a shit? They know you'll keep playing and they know you'll keep buying skins no matter how bad the lag is and no matter how long it lasts. Take a look at the history of the NA East servers if you want a perfect example. Riots only plan is to stay quiet long enough for you guys to tire yourselves out from complaining about it, then they'll release a new skin for you to buy. I swear this game is like an abusive relationship where the players think it's acceptable and expected to be treated like shit. Wake up and drop this game because they will never change.

Thought for the longest time that it was an ISP issue, but there is zero issues on LAN. No spikes. No packet loss. No, "Attempting to reconnect." I guess if I want to play league in a decent environment, then I am going to need to learn Spanish.

i was experiencing some super server lag in my last game at 10:00 CT. I was playing Draven and i couldn't see where to catch my axes, if I did catch them it would be so late then i would lag over the lane. ( it was a normal, but if i were to play ranked loss prevented). Draven

I dojnt get it i got 25ms when i tested it. I tested my pings in tutorials usually before going into ranked when i play the tutorials i get normal ms but when i play ranked pings goes up to 700ms. Is it me or NA server

We both made the same mistake. This showed up in recent on the boards for some reason? When in actuality it was 5 months ago.
