After Figuring this out, I love season 8

So season 8 came out, and in my first game as jungle, I get nuked down by mid, countered by enemy jungle, and was several levels behind the rest of the game. I played 3 games with almost perfect replicated results. My heart began to sink, and I didn't understand. Back in the day i used to play a decent amount of ADC, so started queuing for that instead. hoping to get different results. It was on and off, but still no fun. Until, i began to notice it. Once i saw it, I got excited. I got really really excited. The triangle is back!!! And not just on bot lane. on every lane in one way or another.

looking back, i realize how spoiled we have become in the league of legends. Last season was literally gravy mode compared to previous seasons where i had to fight and battle to win in games. Team comps didn't actually matter in season 7, lane positioning wasn't even that important and you could walk away from most initiates. I saw teams with far less CS win easily and early game CS not make a difference in laneing phase. I saw teams where going 0/5 mid would carry the game late game with far inferior items. Looking back, this game actually wasn't very challenging S7. Counter jungling did very little, ganking did very little. the games were won and lost after so many team fights. Sure, occasionally youll get a nasus with far too many stacks to carry or whatnot, but now, Annie is carrying games, and adc's feel strong but vulnerable again. No more is me initiating as ADC and thinking i can get away with it, because now, i will be nuked down.

With all the negativity that I see against this game, and the damage that everyone is screaming about, i see that these people refuse to change their play style and work on playing safe at least until level 3, ward up, and focus on last hitting over trading so much so early. Not letting there health go below 50% and such. These are things that we all had to worry about back in the day. And I do realize that some champs got bigger buffs over others. Its not perfect and probably wont be with changes this big. but its now at least challenging. winning in the jungle means so much more then it did before. winning bot lane is tremendously more pleasing now, because its actually a challenge.

I have been playing this game on and off since season 2, and as a veteran player, this is the league that i remember. this is the league that me and my friends got excited to play, and got angry when we were outplayed. this is the game that drove us to play better. that had us focusing on so many little details to get as many advantages over the other players as we could. I am now having more fun then ever, and once i see other people learn how to play this new season, im sure you all will as well. I've noticed the negative attitudes being at an all time high, and I hope that this continue for much longer.

I know i cant be the only one who sees this, and i hope a lot of people with respond to this telling me there own experiences with this season, but look at my match history. im no pro, you'll see my staggering amount of lossed games, then all of a sudden a change in pace, and even 6 wins in a row.

I am no pro player, and dont do ranked games much, so i hope some higher ranking pro players will respond to this and agree with me. This is going to be a very exciting season. Everyone just needs to open up to it.
