Looking for a way to properly buff Gangplank.

Gangplank is a late game monster as most of us know, he can hard carry 1v9 after 4 items. However, all of this comes from his barrels alone and his Q. The thing that bothers me the most, is that Gangplank's ultimate ability, is not worth using anymore unless you're lvl 11 with both Fire at will and Death's Daughter . And even then it feels lackluster unless you hit the enemy right in the middle with Death's Daughter. What I'm suggesting is a buff to Gangplank's base R damage. Since thunderlords used to have a big impact on it and is now gone, there really is no reason to even pick him. I would love to hear other people's opinions or even Riot's opinion on a possible base dmg buff on his R.

Also, whilst I'm here. Can I get the old client back please? I really don't like the new one at all.

I think they need to trim power off of his Q (yes even more) and then possibly a good buff to his R. I don't feel like GP's R should do much if GP uses it across map, but it should be stronger when GP is there and can herd people in there because they want to avoid barrels.

Maybe make his barrels proc Trial by fire if enemy is in his R? Would be interesting and would add some more skill to a champ that is supposed to be high skill high reward.

Buffin current gp r is sorta dangerous, hes not that bad and doesnt desserve more dmg (my opinion) . The graspplank got hit and glasscannons are findin a spot again with the new crit items, which means he will have a lower winrate. If he gets any buffs, it should be q mana and thats it. Or nerfs on other champs top, like this prick Vayne or dear god Riven

This, I'm a GP main and I agree. All he needs are some Q mana buffs early and he's golden.

I think buffing him can make him monster since riot always buffs abilities that dont need buffing. To me they need to lower q mana cost early game cause it is STUPID as hell to use 3 Qs and run out of mana if you take into account how easily you can get harassed . His ultimate doesn't need buff. It is not a killing ultimate but an ultimate that provides some slow and some damage. But i think his ultimate upgrades are a little silly. I switched going from deaths daughter to fire at will because it provides better slow . Deaths Daughter is a little random on him , not only it takes really good timing skills , it doesn't feel rewarding and doesn't fit into an ultimate that is supposed to provide cc.
