Dear Riot, my personal thoughts of the game so far from a long time player...

I've been playing League of Legends some time before Lux's first release and might I say Riot and LoL has come a long way from what it was from when i originally started playing with my free Facebook Tristanna. (Please note the following is MY personal opinion of what all has happened over the years I have played this game, and may or may not be someone one could agree with...that being said...resume with caution.)

I will say the game is always updating and bringing new things to the table, which is good for keeping things from being stale. Unfortunately it sometimes tend to change too much or too often in all areas even in the wrong ones. Reworking a champion may be needed in some cases, unfortunately it also feels the reworks are making simple and easy to get used to champs for beginners; like Ryze and Warwick, to become more complicated and overall in my opinion...ruined. Mordekaiser, Vladimir, mechanic of classic items either being removed or altered beyond recognition is...disappointing at times and reversals are never seen. Yorik was an interesting example of a rework because people do play him a bit more, but since he is a massive rework you should have just made a new champion at that point. Some players have argued and claimed that riot tends to make more of these changes for those who are "pro-players" in ranked, i don't doubt that the claim has some truth to it but i would like to believe riot takes all players into account in that retrospect.

There are A LOT of things I do indeed miss that is no longer a part of LoL anymore (a lot of is champions that have been reworked....) however one of the things that sticks out most is the old Twitsted Treeline. The new one is nice and pretty balanced for the most part, unfortunately it lacks the charm the old map gave. The twisted treeline was that mode that would cause players a bit of dread and worry because of how it was designed and with the many places to hide and ambush from. It also had more jungle camps, interesting buffs, and even a prized red buff and dragon that the teams would litterally kill one another over, now that is only reserved for Vilemaw...whee. With all the new champs available now, old twisted treeline would be very chaotic but also very interesting and fun at the same time.

As for the occasional released game modes; frankly they are nice...most of the time. However some game modes are WAY better than others...and ALL RANDOM tag-ons to game modes...either need to be removed for good...or be OPTIONAL. A suggestion for CO-OP vs AI.... made DOOM BOTS the "hardest" mode permanently! Why? So that players can REALLY test themselves with champions; if they can handle doom bots...they can beat a huge percentage of players.

Reworked champ flops (or at least considered flops). Could we make alternate version champions? Like have multiple of the same champion to pick from like just before rework and then reworked one? i would love to see the soraka that can shred MR and GIVE mana to teammates again. Or the shen that can heal his entire team if they hit his mark. Perhaps make it a game mode! FIRST RELEASE MODE! Where every first release champion (even the unfairly broken originals, remember the Xin release? Horrifying! Remember Leblanc? She was like "wtf is anything not a full MR tank vs me?!") come back so those who started playing league before the "dark ages" can see what it was like, watching youtube videos of those times...SUCKS, no one likes to watch...they wanna play!

Also I don't know if this was a riot decision or a bug that WON'T GO AWAY. But when I turn off the "mature language filter" as an adult who doesn't completely LOSE IT when someone calls me a bad word....i'd like to never see **** in chat. EVER!

The new client....I like the looks of it but OH MY GOODNESS it takes FOREVER for it to load back up after game, it lags when ever i want to swtich a menu and which is why i LOATHED the decision of killing off the legacy client. Either take away some of the pretty that may cause the lag....or do something! the menus, are menus and players aren't there to look at them and love them...their focus in in playing! (though choosing to not use horrid colors for the eyes is always a good choice....like NOT using bright yellows and mixing it with white and stuff like that....smart move :D frankly...that alone would probably make me never want to play... love the game but if i had to go through eye and brain torture to get to it...eh....i'd opt out.)

A suggestion i have for the game....and i had this thought for a long time.... remove Flash from summoner spells and make it an item. Frankly its annoying seeing 99% of players...having flash, it's like...what is the point of not taking it!? Ghost wont get you over that wall, especially if the blast cone is gone! I'm Jarvin IV, a champ that feels like riot forgot... "my ult is a wall that can't be passed through! Oh...they flashed...fun." Then there is Camile, "i have your ult but WAY better and mine actually CAN'T be left and i cant possibly screw over my allies nearly as often!" gives middle finger to Jarvin IV

I don't really get the story reworks, frankly i lost interest i the lore because of it...Singed used to be Warwick's apprentice (idk if he still is/was at this point) and his master was cursed by Soraka the Star Child due to his horrid deeds. He then became a werewolf, a beast that matched his terrifying heart. In this act however, Soraka gets punished and must try to atone for her actions whereas Warwick is now a more mindless beast possibly out to hunt down the one who changed him in the first place...or perhaps thank her with a display of his new abilities. Now what is it? DON'T CARE! Gone, changed ,ruined, and thrown away goodbye lovely and lengthy lore descriptions hello intersert barely any bio here that most player won't care about new champ with new abilities PLAY ME ALREADY GO!

Why doesn't Nasus and Renekton get a quest!? Nasus couldn't escape him forever, his brother even said so!

Dominion needs a resurrection but maybe now as one of those occasional game modes we see...im sure players would enjoy it again!

Thoughts so far? Does anyone agree or disagree with anything I have said so far and why? Please tell me! :D

Going to address the multiple champion kit versions paragraph since it was the only thing my eye caught in this wall of text (that's a hint to please segment it)

Almost all reworks happen because a champion's kit is fundamentally broken, or doesn't have a place in League (example: Sion was a giant clusterfuck of how the hell do you build/play this champion?) Galio was a one trick pony that was taken purely for his cheesy flash ult plays, making him a boring and one dimensional character. Rek'sai's ult was reworked because it was essentially impossible to balance it for both pro play and live play.

These reworks happen because the previous iterations are not healthy for the game. Leaving them in while adding new versions of their kit just leaves the game cluttered from a balance perspective

I do understand the reasons for reworks do not get me wrong, but that doesn't change the fact it creates a longing for the originals. Yes, some champs were used purely for their "cheese" kits and people being unsure how to fight against them. However, you are going to get that with anyone and everyone...it depends on situations and don't pretend people don't purposely pick counters in draft mode. you see a leona you nab a morganna or a sivir...maybe both. A lot of champs are indeed one trick ponies, or at least tend to be played as such by the majority. Versatility isn't a bad thing, neither is changing things up once in a while. Balance will always be an issue to a degree, so that excuse is....flawed. As for being healthy for the game...that is debatable to some extent. I'm not against nerfing, trust me...leblanc not having a silence anymore was a blessing in disguise for anyone going mid ever. What I am...wouldn't necessarily say 'against' but not particularly fond of...are most of the reworks themselves especially ones that 100% change everything about a champ, at that point...make the new champ, but that is my opinion.

Excuse the format, this was my first ever post here and I did type this while it was very late. Thanks for your response, but do keep in mind I was asking for thoughts about what was said. Sorry if this was confusing for you. <3

It is very hard to read a post this long when you do not format it. If you're going to write a post like this, write it like you would an essay or argumentative paper. Start paragraphs with new points and statements. Separate paragraphs with line spaces. In your first paragraph, summarize what the post is going to be about and what your main point is.
