I got Ekko and plan to main him into next season. I'm curious where he is the most successful. My favorite role is jungling. But I'd be fine playing top Ekko. But for some reason I can't picture playing him mid. Does anyone know which role fits him best?

The win rates for top and mid are similar, with mid just barely edging out top. The player expertise in terms of number of games played is different, with the early games played mid and getting more kills, while the more experience players go top and die more often.

He's better as an assassin now. His tank is more or less useless when compared to other cc top laners without the passive slow, and just remember, with every tank nerf there is an ap buff, so right now if you get a little bit ahead with ap ekko he absolutely obliterates in game.

Lao Fu the Tiger1 votesIgoring what Champion.gg says, I find a highly successful mid build for me is a tanky-AP with 
as the two core items then whatever the heck you want to build.
It gives enough health to survive lane/burst while still giving plenty of damage. From there you can either tank or build more AP, but I personally prefer mid lane over top lane for him.
