I tried azir a lot in 6.13 and I felt that he was weak. R.I.P Azir patch 4.16-6.14. item 3070

He will never be dead. He fills a niche that cannot be filled by another.

His late game damage is killer.

This nerf only lowered his early game brutality so that the non-emperors have a chance.

He is still a viable and powerful pick in the right hands.

It is and he is one of my reason to play LoL but it is always possible to adapt! I'm a 6 Azir main and I won't change to other main just because these stupid nerfs. Change runes, a slight change to masteries and the item build and you're on set! It's better now to scale up his dmg with AP items rather than just getting speed as your counter builds resistance.
