I'm not high ranking or anything but pink wards shut her down or counter jg with lee sin is the same problem that shaco have, yet he is more than viable compare to the rarely picked eve who I find is far more versatile and fun.

You should go AP only if you are going for the tanky build.

As a Shaco main who used to play a ton of eve... sorry to say but you are wrong here.
You are not wrong in that eve is good as ad...
You are just wrong in that she does what shaco does better.
Eve doesn't 100 - 0 carries late game out of no where...
Eve can't hop walls to steal buffs...
Eve can't take a combat summoner on top of smite to be able to fight better.
Eve can't reach out and secure kills on low hp champs with a shiv toss, before kiting back to repeat.
Eve can't give you better map control and vision with boxes.
and lastly, Eve is much easier to catch than Shaco... so her split pushing suffers from that.
Look I like Eve... I think she does a lot right, and I'm glad you are having fun with her, but there are simply some things Shaco does that eve can't hold a candle too.
I'm glad you're enjoying Evelynn, but as a longtime Eve player and jungler I had some questions on your build choices out of curiosity and some comments to make overall.
First: Why IE? Hydra I can understand due to Eve's sustain issues, but I'm confused as to why you would build a heavy damage, glass cannon item on a character who gets very little in the way of crit enhancement or steroids outside of AS. I'd personally rather build a Sheen into Triforce or a Cutlass into BotRK on her than IE
Second: Warrior enchantment? It's a really excellent item modification that lends a lot of power to junglers, so I'm confused as to why you didn't get it. I can get a little bit of the "swapping jungle item" thing, but beyond that I'm confused.
Third: What's the Zeal for? PD? Triforce? SS?
Last: I'm glad you're enjoying Eve and encourage you to keep playing her, especially if you've found a build that works for you. However, I'd also caution you that the glitter is going to fade after some more games. I'm telling you right now, you're going to have games where you wish you had picked Shaco. You're going to have games where your glass cannon bulid just isn't going to work. As long as that doesn't discourage you, have at it, and enjoy her as much as you can.
