Bronze 4

I know that everybody has seen posts like this a million times but still I feel the need to make another post. Recently I played my first ranked games. I went 4 and 6 in my provisionals and ended up getting bronze 4. I myself did well in most of my games and even carried a few. A friend of mine just hit 30 and did his provisionals as well. He went negative in most games and lost all of them. He also got bronze 4. I was fairly mad about getting this rank, as last season a different friend of mine did his first provisionals, went 4 and 6, and got silver 4. In addition he went 1 and 9 this season and got bronze 5. I dont understand why and how this system works at all. Rito pls

Edit: I dont mind being in bronze 4 and feel like I can get out of it, I just am annoyed that I got the same rank as my friend that went 0-10
