Question about ranked LP gains/losses

My current game that I'm in

So I'm currently in Plat V attempting to just get Plat III or II so I can place in Plat V next season. I recently realized that after getting into plat, my LP gains went from Win 21 Lose 16 to Win 20-21 Lose 19-20. Is this normal? I'm basically only profiting 1 LP per win and loss. I'm 14 ranked wins ahead of losses does this mean my current mmr/elo is horrible for Plat V or does it mean that Ive just been losing a few more games lately than winning? In my imgur that I linked, everyone was Plat III or higher, shouldn't this mean my mmr is somewhat decent?

Your MMR is indeed responsible for the LP changes per game. When you win as much as you lose, your MMR is roughly where it should be for your division. However, seeing that you are actually playing against people above your division, this is quite curious. Perhaps the system is a lot more complicated than that and wants to test you a bit before letting you climb further.

Anyways, you shouldn't focus too much about your LP unless you plan to get to Diamond. Your seeding of the next season has nothing to do with the division you were in before (only indirectly correlated) but is based on your MMR. As long as you win more games than you lose, you will gain MMR.

Edit: Based on this site https://na.whatismymmr.com/Prince%20of%20League your MMR is actually estimated to be below plat V. Perhaps you were placed with/against higher players because the matchmaking couldn't find a proper fit on your level and thus matched players of a wider variety together to create 2 'expected to be' equal teams. If the platinum I Teemo is also soloQ, he would kind of make up for your lower MMR.

Thanks for the help, guess I'm trash at the game then haha. Today I've learned a new mmr site!

When you still get equal or slightly higher MMR for wins than losses, your MMR is just normal, not trash. Note that the MMR from this site is just an estimation and uses a different formula than op.gg (hence why the values are always like 300 lower than on op.gg or the old elo system) According to which your MMR is normal for plat V. (Also plat V is top 10% of the ranked players, far from trash)
