Nidalee Mid Viable S8??

I was just wondering if Nidalee Mid with ignite or tpeleport would be viable in the current meta

Sadly lane nidalee has been suffering for a long time and riot hasn't decided to do anything about it yet. Some rioters have expressed interest in returning her to lane though we just have to keep waiting :/

thats not the responce i got when asking them a few years back, but i hope your right.. for her to lane again she will need a minimum of this

pounce to give her a full reset at lvl 1 and only be incremental when pouncing to JUNGLE champs.

that is the most important absolute necessity it would also be nearly impossibly to do unless she had her % hp traps back, which coudl easily be fixed by reverting to 4.17 on those but chaning the cap from 200 to 50/100/150/200/250

since she maxes traps last anyways.

with those 2 changes i feel she MIGHT be able to lane again.

neither of which would remotely break her jungle

also getting the vision on traps and the old traps trigger distance back to 5500 would help. but i doubt i could get that back

This is the response I've seen recently and they are making changes to champs to let them go in other lanes (Vi) and also they have posted about other champs including irelia saying things like the reason she does reduced damage to jungle monsters was so her jungling didn't out shine her lane and then they'd end up with irelia players mad and no place to go. It sucks they didn't think about players of specific champions back when they messed nidalee up but hopefully if we call them out on it they can fix it. I also agree about giving her the pounce reset back that coupled with the auto resets would make her able to farm a lot better and trade a lot better in lane. But no matter what they do any little buff they give her is going to have to be coupled with some form of nerf to her jungle monster damage even if its a tiny tiny little nerf like hunt dealing 1% less damage to monsters.

I would love for them to just slow her clear speed down and turn her into a skirmishing jungler that would solve her problem of being broken as shit in the jungle and they could maybe even add back her cougar stats to help her survive lane a little better as well.
