Fiora with Conquerer. That's %@#$ing ridiculous. All game, she was barely dealing any AD, it was just true damage. So much true damage. HOW DO YOU BUILD AGAINST THAT?

That's 1930 true damage (+ a bunch from basic attack : mixed). And you don't build against that. You build damage/sustain/maybe a bit of health and steraks could help because you would technically have more than 100% health since the shield procs. Still, Fiora's damage is uncounterable BS, there's no denying that.

Helpful hint:

Don't be 4-8.

Don't give her those first few kills - or you are foolish to even try engaging with her late.

If you play Illaoi you know what a hyperscaling champion is. Fiora does it too. She is a duelist, in kit and lore. She is designed to 1v1 opponents when she is ahead with nearly uncounterable ease.

You should actually have a decent early game as Illaoi versus Fiora . If not, you're doing your early build and skills wrong, or not using/defending your tentacles properly. Try leveling W earlier than you think you should to shred down some of her high base tankiness, and make sure you don't use your E in an obvious way or it'll just get Riposted. Look for sneaky opportunities to land it, and protect your tentacles - fight her if she goes in to kill them, because it's your healing on tentacle champion hits that will give you the advantage. Make use of your ult well, as you should beat her (as you should most champions) with three or more tentacles down in an ultimate engage.

Get that CS up too. Work on those last hits. 5 CS a minute is not the best, it's not completely terrible but most good League players go for 7-8 at least and the LCS standard is 10-12 these days. I have no idea how they do it, but they do - they get 95-99% of in-lane CS and literally about 70-75% of it under their own tower, even early.

Finally, if you can't beat Fiora - buy her and try her. You will likely find that she is a very high skill cap champion and most of her mains earn it, as you must get fantastically good at Riposte. She's hardly freelo - she has bad matchups too, particularly against certain ranged tops.
