What is Ivern's place in gameplay?

So I like Ivern and I feel like he's got a fresh style of gameplay. I just don't know what role he's best suited for. If he's support, he loses lots of his strong counter jungle opportunities. Ih he's jungle, he is likely a second support style character meaning the team may be missing out on crucial damage.

I just feel like he's not very good in any style of gameplay unless the team is quite synchronized around his use.

What do you other summoners think of him?

He keeps everyone alive. They aren't missing out on damage since your adc who is tanking with your shield is gonna be dishing out more damage than any other jungler could ever do.

In the enemies jungle is where he belongs lol and hes a good support jungler tho not many ppl use his gapcloser instead opting to flash in or use their gap clser lol

Ivern as a jungler does -not- cause your team to lack damage. Jungle is not a role that is typically used to make up a majority of your team's damage, and a team without Ivern will often have a tank or bruiser in the role anyway. All jungle Ivern means is, like any other low damage jungler, that your carry roles need to make sure they're not lacking in damage. That's hardly a constraint on your team comp at all.
