Ranking system

I really dislike how Riot's ranking system depends on whether you win or lose. So you can feed 20+ Kills, still win the game and you'll get higher up in the ranks, however doing amazing and losing the game, you still lose LP. What's the point in trying to better yourself in solo queue, when you will lose the game and still end up in a shit rank. I'm only really bringing this in to attention because I've done AMAZING in games and lost, and it just frustrates me to no end. Or there are games where I do really shotty and I know what I did wrong, yeah, I learn for next time. But I'm still getting more LP. I understand that it is a team game, however there will always be people who just want to be the yoloqueue hero and cost you the game. Not everyone even plays this as a team game and they'll just ignore their entire team until end game lobby and just mouth off on everyone.

Been there done that I climb to plat from silver5

Plus I doubt you'll find a team that want you considering how toxic u flame

It's not about how many kills you can get its about objective control and closing games

Just bc your ahead it's your job to spread gold to your allies do they can get strong too

As a Silver 5 player, I know it must be difficult to grasp, but if you're getting 20+ kills, then tell me how you're translating that into objectives. Tell me how you're warping teamfights with the overwhelming item lead you must have. Tell me how you're acting like a leader and not a mouthy showoff to unite your team. How are you closing out your games? How are you transferring the power spikes you have into other lanes so they can snowball and help you win?

This game has more team elements than just "I have 4 others on my team". If you're honestly getting 20+ kills and your games aren't 50 minutes long, you should be blowing up kids left and right in teamfights. Yes, you'll have to learn to peel for yourself. Yes, you'll have to swallow bad games and bad teammates. But the ranking system is WAY better for players now than it used to be (not to mention incredibly deceptive).

Suck it up, and focus on your game. Solo Q is a grind, it takes patience. If you're as good as you say, close out your games. You'll make it to where you belong. If you're still in Silver 5...well...

You know where I'm going with this.

I'm not saying I end up with 20+ kills every game, I'm saying you can have a person or 2 people on your team feeding kills left and right, they'll just walk into the enemy team and just afk. It's just really frustrating when the other 3 or 4 players are trying their hardest to do things in the game with objective control and team work when they are handicapped. Pointing out the mistakes people make and telling them how to get better or letting them know a different path they could take does nothing if no one is listening. People just type "/muteall" at the very start of games now just because people are so toxic. It's hard to just help other lanes snowball when communication is poor amongst all players in the game.

Once the season starts you'll hopefully get less afkers. Preseason ranked is full of trolls. That being said it doesn't get any easier to win as you go up. Silver V's make a lot of mistakes and if you know how to abuse them you can pick up easy wins.

instead of focusing on what other people are doing, focus on what yourself. What can you do to improve? what can you do to push leads? when is the right time to go aggressive and when to be passive? when is the right time to roam? when is the right time to do baron/dragon? Think about what your strength and weaknesses are and work on them.
