+200 Health (532g) +50 Magic Resist (1000g) +10 Mana Regen (600g) +20% Cooldown Reduction (633g)

The base stats are 106.35% gold efficient, without the passive effects.

Unique Active - Stand Strong: Grants +15% bonus Magic Resist for 3 seconds (60 second cooldown). Unique Passive - Mana Font: Increases Mana Regen by 1% for every 1% of missing Mana.

Reasoning

There is currently a lack of tank items that provide both mana and magic resist stats. Additionally, there are no big ticket CDR items for tanks that focus entirely on AP defense (Aegis and Spirit Visage favor team utility & health regen over mana and CDR). When combatting an AD heavy team, Frozen Heart is the common sense item that solves mana and defensive issues for tanks, but currently there is no good answer to an AP heavy team for tanks who need mana and CDR to peel efficiently for their team.

Overall, tank items need some buffs without indirectly buffing bruisers/fighters.

That's a great point. What ways do you think this can be achieved? I feel like the choice between buying Frozen Heart (tank oriented) or Randuin's Omen (bruiser oriented) is a great example of one way to address the issue.

Just need to change mikael like this

I like that build path quite a bit. Do you think a change like this would negatively affect supports like Janna, Sona, and Soraka who don't necessarily need the early defensive stats from Kindlegem, and would prefer the mana regen from Forbidden Idol?

you have enough mana regeneration by chalice already so don't need more mana regeneration

Are you referring to Mikael's Crucible? If so, I think there is still a big difference between that item and what I'm proposing. Namely, this new item is a "selfish" tank item, whereas Mikael's is a team utility item that can save carries if they get in a bind.

The chalice bell was designed to be the tank mana regen support version of the Chalice line- grail is for cdr and regen for mages with some damage, and the chalice bell is for the tank mana regen support line

the patch notes that had the chalice bell changes to give it more stats and more gold cost

I felt that my original active passive was a bit too strong, so I toned it down a bit to provide damage reduction only for magic damage. It requires timing to get the full benefit of reducing upfront burst from mages, which seems like a fair trade-off.
