Minion Block

I've had a lot of frustrating moments in the game involving minion block where I literally can't move my character because I'm horded by either ally or enemy minions. It seems that the only purpose of minion block right now is to allow things such as phantom dancer, kassadin's passive, and ghost to have a purpose. It feels like minion block is annoying and frustrating to a lot of players, and doesn't contribute much to the game aside from frustration. Please share your thoughts. Do you agree? Disagree? What do you think minion block adds to the game? As an alternative maybe ghost could give a bit more movement speed, phantom dancer could have a different passive, and the same goes with Kassadin.

I think when Riot changed Minion black is when the game took the downhill turn. Minion Block was a stealth addition and riot tried to say nothing had changed when in fact they had rewritten the whole minion code.

Minion block has the good outcome of punishing people who don't plan ahead around the same thing happening every 30 seconds during every single game.

The minion is going to be there again every 30 seconds on the dot. Minions are, for the most part (Until Malzahar presses W and the enemy minions flip their shit), incredibly predictable. Their behavior, in nearly all cases, is regular and predictable.

If you can't play around the same thing happening every single time, then honestly you deserve to take that free damage it gives the opponent.
