Buying A Bot To Level-Up Your Account Actually Works! (How Bots Are Ruining ARAM and AI games)

I noticed that bot accounts were common in Co-op vs Ai games, but I just finished a game where** all 4 other members on my team were bot accounts**, so I decided to make this post. As of right now, all the accounts are still active and have not been banned.

What the bot does: It makes the champion run down mid and autoattack anything along the way. Eventually the champ runs into the tower and dies. This bot makes the champion move in several different directions along the way, and sometimes makes them stop completely for a few seconds, probably to make it look more human. They even made this bot buy items. They tend to disconnect and reconnect at certain times.

The 4 bot accounts that were on my team: << Edit: DELETED because naming and shaming is against Board Rules, even if the accounts aren't human >>

You can check on op.gg to see that they have been doing this for OVER ONE WEEK. They win some games because the human players on the team carry them.

All 4 performed the actions I described above, one after the other. They even took turns running into the tower. Notice how their names are just random letters. They all reconnected and disconnected one after the other.

I got leavebuster for leaving a game where I was the ONLY human player. Feelsbadman.

Clean up your act, Riot.

This is the part that angers me the most. When they aren't even human, how can they have human rights? Warning about bots - with names - should be considered a community service.

Still waiting for Riot to put a captcha in-game for accounts reported as being bots.

A bot leveled account costs like ~15 dollars max. So, if you can work for minimum wage, a few hours of wage = 100s of saved hours leveling an account. Unless playing complete fiesta-smurf-ridden games is your idea of fun, then 1-30 is basically a huge barrier to playing the real game.

One solution is to gain some ARAM ELO so you don't encounter those bots anymore, but then you're stuck with the ARAM accounts who own only the best champions and dodge whenever they get a free week champ that they can't reroll.

Riot should clean up these messes, both of them.

(P.S. I admit bots are way more problematic than ARAM accounts)

Never thought I'd see the day these pests leave TT and infest other modes.

Don't forget about bots in PvP Twisted Treeline normal games (havent done any TT games in ranked yet)

Also, for anyone who wants to help find these bots, check what the free week champions are. If the "player" picks one of them, ask if they are human.

This problem has been going on for a long time. Riot refuses to do anything about it. Just another problem chalked up to "we don't have enough resources because we're too busy worrying about chat." Which, ironically, is the only negative thing in the game that we can actually control...with a simple click of the mute button.
