Ranked Armor Past Highest Rank is Wrong, and so are the other ranks...

So This last season I ended in Gold V on my main account, because I am in the Army and didn't really have the time to play ranked. I literally just played enough games to get from where I placed in like Silver 2 at the start of the season to Gold just for the rewards. On my account, it says that my current rank is Gold 4, which is clearly wrong since I never made it to Gold 4 this past season. It also says that my Past Highest Rank was Gold 1, even though during the 2017 season I was in Platinum, which you can see from the icon I have displayed showing that I was Plat.

At first, I thought it might have been a conversion, due to the ranking changes, but that doesn't make sense. Gold 4 and Gold 1 are only 3 teir away from each other when I had at least 5 teirs away from my current rank during the 2017 season by being in Plat. This doesn't line up with MMR either, from what I can tell reading the forums. How is my current rank Higher than it ever was, but my highest max rank much lower than it was? During the past season, I never climbed past where I am currently at so the Gold 1 label should, realistically, only read either Plat or Gold IV/V, depending on if they Gold IV is actually accurate or not...

Has anyone else had this type of issue with their accounts ranked history? Does someone with more understanding of this have an explanation? Everything I can think of doesn't math out...
