Why does QSS only build into 1 thing?
Why is 
not available in Summoner's Rift? Or at least another item that could make QSS actually useful?

Slamurai Jack13 votesThe active is so good that you shouldn't always have an ideal end item to build it into. Otherwise you would see 5 qss's on every team every game.

pretty sure if it did build into a legitimate item for everybody we would even see supports take it due to it being a free cleanse, I think Mercurial should be the only item to have it due to it being a free Cleanse with a nice movement speed buff on it too.
Zantumall1 votesNot to mention that making an AP version would be a pretty heavy (if indirect) Malzahar nerf. Right now if a midlaner wants to screw over Malz they at least need to waste money and an item slot doing it, imagine what would happen to his winrate if the thing was actually slot efficient and gave desirable stats.

it's different, not strictly better, though it does the job in most situations.

should have a Tank Item added into the game, maybe add Tenacity as well (We need more Tenacity variety because only three items offer it, one being a Potion and another offering mostly damage) but make it hella expensive because QSS and Tenacity together'd be insane.

Merc. scimitar is strong enough, qss didn't build into anything at all back in the day. Merc.s gives everything you need against mages.
