Emotes and Icons (Can we have a compromise?)

Ok so I get the whole emote costing RP thing, smart move wp, gg, etc. Here is the thing though and I'll be glad if its already in the works, but CAN WE PLZ get to use our emotes from Icons that we already have without equipping them? I mean doesn't that seem fair?

I don't know how hard that would be to do, but it would definitely be sweet for those who have unique emotes and love a certain icon ALOT.

Or at the very least can we get a marker for unique icons w/ emotes attached to them? ( I think I might have more then one but I'm a little hazy to which)
