AD runes on Kennen

I've seen some guides on Kennen running AD runes, is it a legit thing to do?

Either that or start with item 1055 .

It's hard to farm else and also gives you good aa poke early.

It is. More auto attack poke since he's more reliant on auto attacks in early game (or so i've heard)

I actually think it's more for his farming potential. He has a pretty hard time CSing early game against some natural pushers

I do. It makes last hitting easier and it actually makes your early trades go better as they will be reliant on landing an auto attack or two. That will help you in lane until your first AP item is finished and would allow the AP to dominate the trade. Not to mention, the extra damage off of the W passive (I believe) scales off of AD as well as AP so it will help in last hitting/trading early with that as well.
