regarding malzahar

so i played a game where the enemy malzahar reached lategame.

He oneshotted us. with his ult. only his ult. yeah even he didnt believe that sh*t.

So i thought " hey, gonna get qss so i can avoid a clickshot suppression oneshotting me". turns out qss will no longer negate the dmg on his ult since both beam and field now do dmg. The beam will continue to do dmg even if you walk out of cast range.

Sooooooooo wtf?

Could someone tell me what i´m supposed to do against a malzahar oneshotting people with nothing but his ult and qss not beeing an answer?

QSS didn't negate the damage from his ultimate even before his reworks.

You always had to either CC him or walk out of range.

item 3140 just gets rid of the Suppression, it doesn't get rid of the tether that deals damage. Get away or use some displacement on him to get rid of the tether.

Yeah, I noticed that the % damage swamp with crystal sceptre is pretty damn nasty even after you QSS using malz. The slow will constantly apply even if you break free.
