It is really hard to play with Jg due to the reduction of jg exp. When u reach as lvl6, solo laners will be lvl 8 to 9. That is too much cuz if u fail to gank solo lane, the result is not gonna be overcome til end of the game.
Supporters dont need to spend gold to upgrade items but the price of the jg items are still same.
I agree the jungle blows right now people like to say "oh just adapt" or "this lets junglers show skill expression by being better than the enemy jungle at jungle pathing" but lets be real most of the population in league is plat or lower and pathing just does not exist in these elos. The jungle change was made specifically for dia+ and LCS to show mastery of the jungle and i'm sorry but that does not work for all elos. The average player should not instantly lose a game because they failed a gank and are now 2 levels down, it's just not really fair there there is virtually zero room for error. I have personally stopped jg after 6+ years because this shit feel absolutely terrible to play and sadly i won't be playing my main role in ranked next season. You know why jg is the "most impactful role"? Because it takes 1 fucking mistake to ruin the entire game for your team so yes it is the "most impactful role" in that sense.
The Jg exp changes just feel so bad to play with.
Scenario 1: Top lane is vs Darius and dies twice to him, Darius is level 6 while you are 4. There is no way in your mind you're going to go top and help your top laner out, you pretty much have to let him fend for himself or give chance at Darius 2v1ing with his level advantage.
It just feels so snowbally. If you end up getting fed as the jungler you just go in the enemies jungle and take all their camps while your teammates are doing the same taking the enemy camps as well, making it a 4v5 since the enemy jungler can't come back in levels.
If you're behind as a jungler you just want to /ff since everyone and their mother are taking your camps and before you know it you're down a bunch of levels. You can't do anything while you're behind to come back in levels.
Jg feels godawful to play right now. We're being punished way too hard for dying or being a little bit slower while Champs like yasuo can be 0/10 and once he gets two items he's fine to return to the game and carry. Mid the strongest role got buffed while they made jg awful to play. It's not a coincidence that if u put mid secondary then u have ensured your primary role and u never get autofilled when u choose jg. Noone wants to play jg and everyone wants to play mid.
If you're level 6 and your laners are lv 8-9, you've either died multiple times, ran around doing nothing for 3 minutes, or didn't secure any objectives.
To me there is a glitch sometimes I go red raptors wolves and I'm 3. Other times red raptors wolves gromp then 3.
Jungle exp is fine. U still get more gold for full jungle item before 8 mins to be stronger than laners but lower in exp.
