Normals match making is broken

It's quite funny riot can't fix ranked or norms, this company is absolutely clueless. Dynamic que is a huge joke and so is norms. There is no balance system in norms, I don't know how many games I get into and I am with all silvers and bronze players who don't know their asses from their face, mean while the enemy team has a Plat 3 and 2 golds and 2 silvers, yup seems pretty legit. I am not good by any means only being in G1 but ffs balance the god damn games. You can't even go try new champs in norms because of how shit match making is your team just gets destroyed. You can't go try new champs in ranked because you don't want to hinder your team playing a champ you have 0 or very few games on. Get your head out of your @ss riot.

MMR in normals is entirely different and not associated with MMR in ranked. And if high elos players (Plat+) do not play normals, then they have suckish normals MMR since they never built any up (or at least not since they last played normals regularly back when they sucked as well). It is kind of like when you do ranked for the first time: you never get placed into anything higher than Silver no matter how good you really are. But after playing a decent amount, you get to the rank you deserve (this is assuming the person was actually a Plat+ level player). Same for norms, except no one plays normals enough to hit that MMR.

Personally, I like that they keep it separate. It lets me play against a variety of different skill gaps and practice what I could never really practice in bots (or would be a bad time to practice in ranked).

They need to loosely tie normal MMR to ranked MMR. Many players in plat/diamond+ haven't regularly played normals for a long time. Let's say they stopped when their MMR was just 1500. Now they might be equivalent of 1800-1900 (or higher), but in normals they're still at 1500. That's the biggest cause of the imbalance there.

This would work perfectly. If you are a plat or higher player in ranked then this needs to carry over to norms so you aren't playing against bronze and silver players just because you don't play norms often.
