Learn the objective game.

Every move you make is to play into an objective, from getting an Epic Monster to destroying a Turret to feeding the one guy on your team designed to carry. Kills and snowballs are nice and all but they have no value if you don't do anything with it. Therefore, always make sure that ganks are well coordinated to shut down or accelerate the lanes that are strategically smartest, never halfass an assault on a tower if you think you can get away with it, and coordinate with your team to take full advantage of the strategic value epic monsters give.
