Okey.... so basic discussion and opinions. Tell me guys what champ you feel is overplayed , borderline you could tell which one you find ''broken'' just like riven's sword. I want to understand how come people don't get that , if a champion is overplayed... by following a certain logic , it would automatically mean they are overpowered kits or damage e.t.c. , each time I bring that up , some other person tell me to fuck off because I don't know how to counter it ? I mean , ok fine , some champions might be countered by another one sometimes.

But when you keep seeing a champion non stop even after his release... I really think there should be some investigation on why they are overplayed. Championship take a part in this indeed , like trying to be a copycat of champion meta that comes out in each tournament ok. But the fact is that , even after these , sometime a champion will still being overplayed.

Take exemple on Fizz , Lee sin , Zed , Yasuo and many more names could be on that list mates, these champ , I think I don't have one game without at least one of these. What is the reason for this ''overplayed'' status on a champion? That's pretty much it , feel free to add some champions to the overplayed list , I shall add them when they have enough upvotes e.t.c , and maybe do a vote on them for some clarity. To be fair, there are only 18 ADCs, 9 of which have 50% win rate or higher. Vayne and Jinx notably have high play rates due to their kits, meta, item changes, and fan base (they made an entire music video for Jinx!).

If there are 18 ADC's and two of them are picked each game, there's 1/18 + (17/18)x(1/18) = 10.8% pickrate if you consider a champion can be picked twice (blind pick) In draft it's 1/18 + (17/18)x(1/17) = 2/18 = 11.1% pickrate

Vayne and Jinx are kinda overplayed. Tristana a bit too.

Have to agree with you. I see Zed almost every single game I play, its gotten to the point now where i just automatically lock in Vladimir if i have to go mid cause i know most of the time i'll be against that guy

Maybe some champions are played a lot because they are enjoyable to play? I rather play a fun to play champion that is average in power than a really strong but boring champion.

If they are fun to play , is it because its easy to set a good score with him or because he is challenging?

Because they have outplay potential and can carry a game even without a big goldlead. They can basically convert skill into success.

Thresh is over played only because why would you play anyother support? Thresh literally has what everyone has. Hes like the swiss army knife of supports.

Being outplayed by Zed, Lee, LB etc is outplay yes, except they are also unfair which make the whole act stupid.

I'd rather get outplayed by Malphite.

No you wont. If malphite would be popular you guys would cry about his " no counterplay ult " and all his "point and click spells". This already happened when ap malphite was good. You people just cry about everything that wins against you, even if its a shit champion with lots of counterplay.

I did play during Shen and Malph's perma ban phase quite some time ago, while finding no problem with the latter guy at all (while I did have trouble facing Shen at that time though).

I also played during when AP Malph as insta killing people, at least this guy doesn't run as fast as other insta killing jesters out there I had no trouble with AP Malph either.

But all in all this is my opinion.

I just hate being killed in a flash with no counterplay while having no chance to even catch them at the same time, as I find those not skill but simply unfair. Zed, Lee, Nid, LB etc are shiny examples of those I despise (at least when they are at their prime).

Sorry to tell you that but , this is quite an ''ignorant'' opinion that you stated , simply by saying that most overplayed champ have alot of counters... which wouldn't make sense since they are overplayed right? And stop being toxic with the whole ''People are noob , end of the line'' act. Getting on my nerves , this excuse has been the excuse of many people for 2-3 years now , just shhh with it. They don't actually cry , they just say the truth about how annoyed they are to see these champs making shitty or epic plays , because either way , it's a lucky draw when you play them to make one of these 2 , unless you master the champion in question. Take vayne for exemple , by default she's really strong , maybe has weakspots , but someone who started with her will still hit harder in my opinion than any other adc. And if you learn the mechanics , she'll be unstoppable. There's alot of exemple like this one , which come back to the question , why are they overplayed if people suck like you said?
