Getting platinum with 1 lane and 2 champions

Hey... last season i became platinum(5) by only swain mid. This season i got platinum(4) by only ahri/nida mid and sometimes nida jungle. I also played against plat1/2 players a period of time when i was in a huge winstreak. Wasnt a problem to deal with this players at all. But whenever i play Top/Support/Adc (especially top, although my main lane is mid) i fail REALLY hard. I mean on a silver/bronze level. Also when i dont play my main champs. Is this legit? Do I deserve Platinum elo :D? I'm not sure if this is morally acceptable :P

it's dynamic queue now, you only need to be able to play 2 roles/1 champion
