I've figured out why this game has begun to suck.

It's in a shit cycle Adc's get a buff that makes them too strong Then a burst class get's buffed to deal with them, which in turn makes them too strong Then supports and tanks get buffed to deal with the Adcs and Bursters that are both too strong now and become too strong Then all of these strats get nerfed and a new item is made to make scaling worthwhile and It's too strong And Adc's become easy targets for it's users Which in turn makes riot buff Adcs

So Adc meta Burst meta Tank meta Scale meta Adc meta

We finished our adc meta with assassin rework. and we are finishing up our burst meta with vanguard rework The thing I expect to end tank meta is going to be a new feral flare.

EDIT: I should have mentioned that every time it goes through the cycle it raises the powerlevel at the beggining at a rate of about 1.5* and at this point we have gone through the cycle atleast twice, at a rate of about 1 full season to complete from start to finish.

I might be missing something here but is what your saying that the game is worse because meta shifts?

the game is worse because its the SAME meta shifts. this is how the meta has been shifting exactly for 3 seasons It's also raising in power ever incarnation. I should have mentioned that

Riot is not following that pattern with the mid-year update.

Itemization is getting reworked and nerfed for both AD and tanks.

keep in mind that we have not seen the vangaurd rework yet, it could be that the items are being nerfed in preperation for the tanks having better stats or new mechanics that benefit better from fewer stats than before.

Until we see the new tank rework in full it would be unwise to make a suggestion about the meta not shifting to them as a focus.

(ofcourse lest all tanks are modernized this will still hurt a great deal for some of them.)

That's a fair point. I'm going to wait to see gameplay of the full changes before I jump to conclusions. It works both ways, you also ought to not jump to conclusions.

Trying to base mine off of history, this same cycle has happened a few times before.
