What the hell were you thinking! As a new player I will basically never be able to get all the Champions. Why would you do this to us there is no reason to destroyed the chance of new players starting to play league of legends. This effects everyone and this patch has ruined my good thoughts about league and I just don’t know what to do....I’m considering stopping playing league...it’s such a shame that you really are so greedy that you would make it almost impossible to buy Champions with using rp. Please change this you’re actively ruining league of legends

The fact that we don't get any BE per game does really suck. I'm not even a "new player" but I've been playing since midseason 5 and I still don't own like 50% of all champions. This really screws me, and moving forward, people who own all the champs will also have to spend money or grind out levels for weeks to get a new champion.

since the moment the patch was playable for me yesterday I got to lvl 31 yesterday and then lvl 32 today, in the capsule I got yesterday I got a jhin shard, in the capsule I got today I got an ivern shard. both champs I already own so I dissenchanted them I got about 2900 BE with those two shards that means if I can gain 1 level each day I will be at 6800 BE in only 3 more days.

The blue essense you get is just as much as the ip, if not more now. Dont be ridiouclas and hate on change. This is definitly a good change and it is not hindering new players AT ALL. They even made leveling to 30 quicker then it use to be. so just chill and enjoy the game

i assume your assumptions come from the math that the rioter posted in the other thread?

that math is wrong....

and while you say 'the blue essence is the same if not more now' it may well be, but the fact that you have to play until you level up to get that blue essence is why people do not like this system, as many people have stated in the above mentioned thread, if i level up and reach 6299 BE, in the old system i could play 1 game and buy my next champion, in the new system i cant, i HAVE to play 7-8 games to level up to buy that champion.

The new system REALLY needs to be looked at again by RIOT imho

erm yes

he states that in the old system a 37 min game would net 100 ip and that in the new system it nets more

my own personaly experience shows that a 35min game in the old system actually netted 170 ip

he is using the wrong numbers in his equations

wrong numbers in equations = wrong math

Unless you have some proof of your experience, I'm inclined believe the numbers backed up by multiple League of Legends wikis and by Riot itself.

As I said, there's an explanation and it's not "omg Riot is trying to fuck us over".

Historically - i.e. for many seasons, the IP was what Mortdog said it was.

I will believe multiple official Rioters providing the legitimate math used by the system and explanations for all "wrongness" in it over believing circumstantial and uncorroborated "evidence" and personal feelings anyday.

@Goku and @Winters I think the biggest thing is people are getting really unlucky. Like I got 2 Singed. I don't own him, but if I want to upgrade it costs 270, and if I disenchant, I get 90. I think people (myself included) just want a reliable income of blue essence per game, just like we had with IP when we were originally leveling up.

to the contrary, YOUR benefitting a lot more then the rest of us who were already lvl 30. plus you make it seem much worse then it actually is, because you require much less exp *cough* grinding *cough* to level up. take advantage of that

What are you talking about? The game is free because the business model makes them money and makes economic sense, not because theyre running some kind of charity.

It's a bit too early to quit on the basis of a 2 day old change that hasn't even had to time to get data from.

I guarantee you that there will be changes to the BE system BEFORE Season 8 starts, so just hang out at least enough time to see them.
