New to top lane need advice for matchups

Hey guys i just started learning top and i find myself straight up getting cucked in certain matchups. How do you counter Pantheon?:He pokes you down with his Q then all ins you and before he all ins you after poking you down he zones you from cs really hard and i cant seem to do anything. How do you counter Darius:He is very lane dominant and i even tried picking a tank into him(moakai) and starting cloth armor and rushing a sunfire cape.if i go up to farm i get hit by the grab or the spinny healing ability which either chunks me down or flat out zones me from cs. I don't know how to win these matchups any advice given is appericated -Thanks :D

i wont pick Maokai into Pantheon but Malphite can Work better. and yeah Pantheon is a lane bully so to deal with champions like Pantheon you have to pick Lane Bullies Renekton\Darius also Dr Mundo is Great. if you are First pick and you got GP and they counter pick you with Pantheon first of all take Grasp on runes and try to not die you can see some high elo games against Pantheon and try to understand. here is an example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WzH80zwCM8

for Darius hes not that strong like he used to be so yeah Jax,Riven,Renekton, can Work try to youtube your hard matches.

and 1 last thing about Top Lane there is no shame of playing Safe. some people think Top Lane is a Mortal Kombat lane.

1.Play Safe. 2.Understand your champion power 3.Always try to track enemy jungle. 4.Pink Wards 5.some games are though if you are 0 3 0 its fine just try to not die anymore and let your team carry you, Low Ego=Victory
