Kalista W + Thresh Intereraction

I recently played a few games as Thresh+Kalista and I was quite annoyed as I found out that I kept stealing CS that I should have been giving to my AD. (Yes they were marked by her and it should have given it to her). My hypothesis of this is that Thresh's E's Passive damage is applied to the auto before Kalista's W, so I ended up stealing the creeps. pretty sure this has nothing to do with any Kalista Thresh interaction and more of your trying to take CS out of melee range... relic shield is MELEE ONLY.. Thresh is RANGED.

if u auto a minion at max range u wont share the gold

Easiest way to solve this is to spread your autos through the wave because she can proc her W passive off your autos.
