Tier Demotion Qestion

So I hit Diamond about a month ago, and have played several games while in D5. No big losing streaks, but I've gone 1 win 1 loss and currently sit at 0LP in D5. I stopped playing ranked because I want to maintain Diamond for awards(loading screen flair), but I want to play ranked.

How easy is it if you are fairly new to a tier, games played wise, to be demoted back to Plat?

Also, If i have 8 days until I start being decayed for inactivity, will that effect my rank at all for End of Season rewards?

You should be fine to take 1 more loss if it does happen without demoting.

Just make sure you do not queue with anyone below diamond.(and if you already have in your last game I wouldn't play anymore)
