Janna from (support) to (mid laner)

Janna Hi everyone I wanted to see how other people felt about this topic. The reason i am wondering is because of the way i feel about this champion "Janna." She is a really good "support" but i am here to say that i personally feel like that Janna is too cool of a champion to just be a support. The one thing that bothers me is not just the fact that she was made to be a support but also because of the fact that her scaling with AP on all abilities are HORRIBLE! Yea i mean i get how she is a sup with a really good shield and knock up and slow, but i feel that if riot ever made her into a mid laner all they would have to do is make her damage on all abilities scale 2x more than what they are now, and just make her shield not shield as hard and BOOM instant mid laner. :)

~Macinite Tell me how you feel :)Janna

Her tornado takes too long to cast to do substantial damage, her shield could be Bursted through. Even her ult is just a minor displacement. Enemy could just walk right back in. Her kit isn't suited for solo.

IF this was season 2 janna I would be all for it since her Q would clear or nearly clear entire minion waves with just a NLR and Doran Ring.

That is no longer the case and Janna is kinda stuck in support since she improves the power of an ally but is not the best at doing anything on her own besides cock blocking the enemy team who dive in.

She used to have better scalings, but it was nerfed mainly due to lane Janna being super uninteractive and basically ungankable. She'd basically sit back and clear waves with her nado, and while she offered very little kill pressure, she'd have super cs and the tower would always be pushed.

I have seen people occasionally lane with her anyway, but it's just not what she's intended to do. Breaking her as a strong support to make an uninteractive mid laner is pretty much the opposite of what they want to do.
