Leaver, troll or intentional feeder in every single game? WTF happened to this game?

Like the title says, this is literally every ranked game I join. I've come back to this game after like 2 years. After trolling placement games with 2-8 winloss i started in silver 3. Managed to get into plat 3 promo and since then (2 weeks), every single game and mostly in my teams I have a leaver, troll, yasuo main rage kids or somebody who intentionally feed cos somebody said he sucks after 0/4/0, stole his cs or some other bullsh*t. From plat 3 promo, I got straight into g2 losing literally every game cos of the reasons I mentioned. What happened to this game? Do Riots still punish only ppl who hate trolls and int feeders instead of the actual offenders like it was in my old days before I quit? And Im about to do it again cos I am literally unable to affect the game result at all with such conditions. Even if I accidentally win something, its because somebody in the second team went troll, int fed or they flamed each other like retards, so its not exactly fun either.

Riot started caring about people cussing people out because they could build AI that could "identify" toxicity. This allowed the company to have the machine do all the reviews and lose less money in payroll. Sadly, the bots look at chat logs only.

I leave a lot of games these days. As a matter of fact, I'm currently on a LeaveBuster for leaving several games recently. I can't speak for others but for me it's frustration. In about 80% of games, you can tell which team is going to win within the first 6 to 10 minutes. Usually, it's because someone on one of the team feeds really fuckin hard. Now, that is just the way it is in season 8, fine. But what gets me is when we have hard feeders and no one wants to surrender. Those games are never fun. It's just 30 minutes of watching your team mates die every 30 seconds with absolutely no hope of being able to do anything about it. Sure once in a while you can make a comeback, but that is extremely rare. So, I started leaving games like that. Sometimes, I would just dick around and let the enemy team take every thing so the game would end faster.

Now, as I said, I can't speak for others but I can speculate that most of us know that games are decided very quickly in season 8 and this is why you would see a lot of trolling, leaving and whatnot. I mean the game is a wait for the first 10 minutes to get a read on who is going to win, after that, it really doesn't make that much sense trying after that of you're on the losing team.

In fact, this is what I do now. I play somewhat passively for the 1st 10 minutes, trying not to feed and I just wait to see which team is going to feed. If it's my team feeding, I know it's done and stop trying or just outright leave. If it's the enemy team feeding, great, maybe I can help carry and secure it. I've tried really hard to figure out what can be done when you have hard feeders on your team and after hundreds and hundreds of games, I've concluded that there really isn't anything you can do about hard feeders. I treat each match like a game of chance. I can only slightly improve my chances of winning by not being a feeder but that barely works. But it's the only thing we can do in season 8.

I've stopped thinking about climbing and all that. I play for fun and if a match is not fun, I just leave and let that be that. I don't even give two shits about LeaveBusters or LP losses. To be perfectly honest, if I find another game to like as much as I liked League, I'd stop playing League altogether. Season 8 is the least fun I've ever had playing this.

i am currently platinum V and if you have something better to do dont try to climb back, the games are decided by which team has the less trolls/afk, is not worth it.

Because unless you have been living under a rock people realize the state of the game.

People realize there is so much damage in the game that once things go south you might aswell start the int train down mid.

Because RIOT cares only about people saying retard/fuck/degenerate .

They do not care about the root of toxicity which is -> inters and trolls

If we knew that these guys would get perma'd we wouldn't feel the need to even be toxic towards them

NO. They only punish the players that are considered toxic (lul). And those are players are the ones that say one of their prohibited words. I've had so many inters in my games, even when they said ''fuck you I'm inting'' they will most likely not get banned. No matter if he said that he was inting and it is in the logs. But if you call the inter/troll a retard BOOM 14 day ban into perma ban. Also its funny that they think this system prevents people from being toxic. Saying ''%%%,retard,kys'' and so doesn't make you the most toxic person. People will still insult you using words that their bots can't catch as offensive. The fact that they think 0.006% of the community is toxic is a fucking joke. There is literally no punishment for trolls or inters. Few months ago I was watching a streamer going on a int spree (just to test how many games it takes to get banned). He didn't say a single word in chat , he was just inting as Rammus with ghost and tp , 6x mobis. And guess what ? 40 games. He needed around 40 games to get banned. This system is a JOKE. I am not saying people who say '' %%%,retard,kys'' should not get a punishment. But getting perma banned for saying that the inter is retarded while he is still playing on his account is fucking stupid. The game has been going downhill for the longest time. And they are not dealing with it the correct way. This is why people are complaining. Its pretty much like flipping a coin on who will get the troll. 3/10 games you get a team with no trolls. Why ? Because their system prioritizes people who said their blacklisted words over the people who were inting.

The irony of this post starting with "after trolling placement games"...you realize you're complaining about people doing things that you put other people through to get a lower placement, right?
