Pink Wards, Potions, etc...

Hey All,

I saw a post about people noticing that pink wards are not on all recommended pages and some people mentioned that there were also potions and even trinkets(looking at you singed) missing on a few. I am going to look at fixing all that I can tonight so that we can get it complete for you guys(especially to help newer players).

If any of you have any other things that seem to be missing please let me know and I'll try to get them all fixed ASAP.

Edit: Just wanted to set the expectation here. I will be working on this tonight but due to the timing of it, it will not be on live till patch 6.4. Thanks everyone for the super helpful responses.

yeah, item 3031 is not in Soraka s reccomended items, can you fix that?

New Poppy is sometimes played jungle, but she doesn't seem to have a jungle page.

Mordekaiser lacks a Jungle page if I'm not mistaken. It would be swell if you could look into it :)

This is a personal thing but...

Could you put consumeables at the top instead of at the bottom? In a pinch I rush to buy a ward, potion, only to scroll to the bottom and see that it's not there so I end up having to go to the consumeable slot and then look for it aaaaaaaaaah.

Change Deathcap item 3089 on Akali's essential items on her recommended page to Hourglass item 3157 . It would help with newer players buy the correct items since shroud is easily countered with true sight items, having hourglass is a core with gunblade item 3146 , and would soften the impact of having shroud being made useless for newer players.

Deathcap shouldn't be bought on Akali so early, unless its a complete stomp fest.

I can't find a place to put a pink ward when we're all at full build and Rengar is 1-shotting the carries. Any ideas?

Nautilus doesn't have a top lane recommended. His recommended page will always suggest support items, even if you don't play him support.

Why tank supports like Leona have item 3068 as recommended items for them? Sunfire Cape tends to be a bad item for supports because it disrupts your ally's waveclear, doesn't have utility (Randuins has a slow, FH has an attack speed reduction aura, Deadman's Plate has a movement speed steroid with a slow on-attack that helps in initiating) and supports can't afford to have magic penetration on their runes and masteries, nor they can afford to build flat magic penetration items like Sorcerer's Shoes or Haunting Guise. This makes Sunfire Cape do very little damage. Is there any reason why Riot recommends Sunfire Cape as an item for Leona? (I don't know if it is also recommended for Thresh or Braum or Tahm Kench, but for Leona it is).

"We here at Riot came to the conclusion the removal of Sight Wards and Blue potions were not right.

We will also remove Pink Wards and Potions to ensure fair gameplay for everybody."

Diana Jungle's recommended starting item should be Hunter's Talisman and 3 HP Pots, rather than Hunter's Machete because the moon lady is rather mana hungry.

The champion.gg client also says that people who use Talisman tend to win more often.

Hey, I'm here with couple of things concerning Zyra .

First of all, she doesn't have Recommended Mid items at all. I think that it shouldn't be too hard to implement to new champion select (where it is known where the player is going) for client to choose mid or support items. I can reply my commonly used items on mid if anyone wants to hear.

Second, I think that she could have a jungle recommendations too. Because, why not confuse newer players even more if they happen to bring the harmless plant to its home, jungle. :P So, uh, she is pretty easy to jungle after getting second camp down, because the plants can take 6 attacks from monsters before dying. Her ganks are good too: even if the root misses, it will still deal a nice chunk of damage to enemies <3

Third thing, the support recommended items doesn't have item 3151 in there at all! I think it should swap place with item 3165 if you want to keep 3 items per category. item 3110 is second item which I think that I've never bought on Zyra... She's played more as "an AP mid on botlane" than "a real support" (at least in my hands), so I think that having item 3157 in place of Frozen Heart would make more sense. I think this is more personal thing, but I value item 3060 over item 3190 because it gives AP and splitpush threat.

I'll gladly answer if you have any questions concerning Zyra. I will answer as well as I can from my experience, 85k xp/gold2 at end of season (sorry if I sound arrogant, I couldn't word up that better). I just reaaally want players to have best possible experience with her. (Can't wait to see her get a new passive on mid-year mage update...) -Karppa

Kayle jungle has machete as her starting item which is strange because not only is Talisman vastly superior, but Talisman used to be recommended and was changed to machete for some reason. Another pretty egregious oversight is that one of lane Kayle's early items is item 1043 , but it doesn't build into any of her recommended items or even any items a lane Kayle typically gets. I'm going to assume it's supposed to be item 3101 instead.

Can you take the opportunity to replace the "potion x3" with "refillable potion" on a lot of jungler's page?

Main offender imho is Sion, but there are probably others.

Also, could you explain why Relic Shield is recommended for Thresh instead of Ancient Coin? Or Spell Thief on Janna (maybe not anymore) last time I checked was a few months ago)? How do you decide in such cases where many starters are viable?
