It just seems kind of dumb that they took away so much damage from Malzahar because of his new passive and then make this new passive completly unreliable (I mean they nerfed it 3 times + his AA range) If anything, Malzahar is less safe then what he was before his rework with these nerfs. Please, now Malzahar is not even a good pick anymore, bring back his damage he had before the rework.

How? As someone who has played a lot of the old and new Malzahar i can safely say the old Malzahar was a lot more oppressive. Since now his E+w+q combo takes up a bunch of mana which it didnt before and his Q barely deals any dmg, it might as well be a utility spell for silencing them like Sorakas E and his passive (or his new W) was really neat since the voidling did deal a lot more than what it currently does. I also miss how he was one of the few midlaners who could shred through tanks.

Bruh. Those voidlings are cancer. His Q also perm silences you if he keeps landing it. Theres literally no way old malz can be more cancerous than the new one.
He was though.. His Q had a longer silence but it was only for a few extra secounds ( like pre-rework Garen ) His E could chunk you without any real counterplay, his current E barely deals dmg without u having items before at rank 3 it could take down half of your opponents health. His voidling also stayed longer than what these currently are (i believe 10 secounds longer)

Now I might have overreacted in this post, Malzahar is still good but the problem is, is that zoning midlaners can simply make his passive not come back and since they nerfed his AA range it is even easier for them to do so.
