What is this matchmaking joke?

So how can this be patched matchmaking when 3 silvers can get placed against a diamond, a plat, and a silver? And I'm not talking about waiting 20 minutes in queue. This was a 1 minute pop for such an uneven game that looking at their rankings my team was tilted before the match even started. We resolved to play safe but against a malz shaco and irelia, without all 3 of us there it didn't matter if we were under tower or not. How can you actually even call this matchmaking? It's like you just grabbed the first six people that queued up and shoved them together. If you are going to allow flex queue for 3v3's can you atleast do something about this horrific matchmaking? Your patch actually made things worse. Pre-patch I was matched against at worst a gold V but post patch I ended up in a series as the only silver in a diamond game. How are we supposed to climb when our opponent's elos are double or triple ours?
