Zoe Spell Thief - No Timer?

So, been played a few Zoe matches. Love the kit, but it feels strange that there's no way to tell how long you have to use your stolen Spells and Active Items. I know, there's that little yellow bar but it feels really vague.

Would anybody else like to see a countdown (sort of a reverse cooldown) to let you know how long you have to actually use them?

Since there's no mana cost, I was thinking just like a small timer where mana cost would normally be, counting down from ...How long does she get to use them?

Tooltip says she has 40 seconds to pick them up. (Pretty sure that got cut to 20) But the tooltip doesn't even MENTION how long you have to use them once you DO pick them up.
