@RIOT Please bring back Inspiration Mastery

Here me out

First off Inspiration is a mastery from season 4-5 that would grant a very small exp amount to a player if they were around a higher level teammate every 10 seconds.

Watching pro play where supports roam a lot and seeing 4-6 level discrepancies between the support and laners is really rough. This happens because of the supports messing around early on. Invading JG level 1/laneswaps/roams/hardcore warding with JG'r.

The support meta is pretty straight forward right now... especially in pro play. Grab a tanky dude who makes stats out of nowhere or has a good engage.

Braum/Alistar/Trundle (steals/makes stats or has a sick engage/blocks dmg for team somehow)....Those are all the best way to make due with the least amount of exp/gold.

If Inspiration mastery came back, it would allow mage supports to potentially come back. Here's why.... a lot of mage supports needs levels for their cc to be meaningful. Not gold.... just levels...

Inspiration would help alleviate the level problem (not completely, but just a little)

Now sure we have seen a splash of karma/janna/morgana/soraka from certain teams, and yes they can be successful, but in terms of Meta viability in pro play they are much weaker than their tanky counter parts because they require levels much more to be useful at all.

And if that doesn't sell it to you...

The vast majority of people who don't play professionally and play normals/ranked will not be affected very much. In non-pro games, lane swaps don't happen like at all. Early roams from supports are almost non-existent (unless I'm playing blitz and I wana race-car to mid lane every 2mins). But this mastery could reward proactive support mains who like to roam.

The only argument I can see that would have reason not to have this mastery is that the OP tanky 3 that I mentioned above would just be better... While true, you can balance that better than trying to bring the rest of the neglected supports back up to snuff.

And if you still cant buy any of what I said. Can we at least all agree that seeing a level 4 support who isn't feeding compared to your level 8-10 mid laner is kinda sad? And that any buffs to the support meta to expand it would drive players towards the role more... which could potentially help role queues?
