So mind as well get rid of the other 120 champs and make the game from scratch if this is how the new champs are looking lol. Another cool champ that doesnt belong in league in my opinion. Thats two cc abilities, with pretty much a hard hitting tanky fella and executing ult. I mean, it's cool but, it's not league... this is like being in a roller coaster. You read good changes and ideas, then see some champs come out like this lol. you get excited cause you think finally things are going to be cool again and poooooof back down to free fall lol. I just dont see how this is "balancing" the game at all :/ if anything I feel like this is making it more unbalanced. Again, it's just my opinion and I am curious to see if others feel the same. This is not meant to "hurt" anyones feelings cause there are sensitive people out there.

But he won’t be tanky... He gets no bonus HP from items. It’s all converted to AD.

yeah but if you think about it, thats alot of armor and mag resist. If you think about it its kinda nuts. Some armor pieces abilities are kinda op for this set up lol

Yeah I think he is going to be alot more tanky than people realize. You can still build resistances and lifesteal plus his healing passive will proc when you go into stealth so as long as you are not cc'd you should be able to reset a fight hp wise and get a duskblade proc

Black Cleaver, Sterak's Cage, Thorn Mail, Spirit Visage, Dead Man's Plate , Titanic Hydra or Righteous Glory, is just one example. That with those abilities that he has are kinda out of balance I think idk.

You have no idea what the ratios are. What if its every 1k HP is 10 AD. Then he will do 0 damage building all tank and also not be tanky due to not having health.

Thats absurd. They obviously put that passive in there to make HP items atleast decent on him. He is supposed to be a support so this appears to be a way to give him access to support style items without making him useless

No, they obviously put that passive in there to make it so he cant build HP but doesnt get screwed by items that have HP on them, which a lot of AD and support items have.

The idea is obviously to make him a support that can do damage as thats his theme, but not one that can become a carry because hes meant to be a support. Making him able to do damage but not take damage relegates him to attacking when he can without being able to duel.

And your earlier post implied he would be building tank, now youre backtracking it to "he will get tanky off support items" which, no...he wont.

But anyway I think he probably could carry a bit. He will be able to deal a decent amount of damage and be able to reset his health pool when he stealths. With a mix of tanky and damage and that execute he should be able to wipe up team fights if he isnt kill to early. Probably want cleanse and a GA on him. this was and edit since I thought this post of kinda shitty without new content XD

I like his kit though. Just hope it's at least balanced with his cooldowns or something. Cause if his cooldowns are short man idk it was hard enough seeing zoey's Q do more damage than veigar's ult lol.

assuming that it's like it says "Pyke also converts his bonus health into bonus attack damage instead." it says bonus so I'm thinking it's not a portion of it or anything. If it is like it that then it's really gonna hurt lol.

Depending on what the scaling is for the HP to AD trade, it might not be worth it to build that many defense items. I imagine they won’t allow too much extra damage from HP.

You’re right. Kayn is so busted right now with is 100% win rate. Oh... Wait. He’s got a 48.8% win rate. It’s a testament to the balance teams that they are able to keep most champs so close to a 50% win rate. that should be the goal. Obviously we’ll never really have true balance, but I believe that it’s close enough to true balance. Trust in the balance teams to do their job. If he comes out way to strong, they’ll nerf him. But we won’t know until he drops.

His ult is going to make snowball comps extremely potent. every kill he gets with it is an extra 150 gold. imagine cleaning up a 5v5 team fight with it.... thats 750 more gold than the team would have had.

I think the strongest part of his kit is the fact that two people get kill gold. Picture this: you have a heavy damage comp bot lane (brand/Draven or something of the sort). What’s the one thing that becomes a problem? One of them isn’t getting as much gold. Thus, eventually one will start to fall off in damage. With Pyke, all you have to do is wait for ult and double kill bot as Pyke and BAM! Both the ADC and the Supp get the gold for said kills. That’s really strong as they are getting quite a lot of gold. No penalty for the supp taking the kill so the ADC can focus farm once it’s clear the supp will secure the kills. Hit up Targon’s to share CS and ult to share kills. It’s pretty strong IMO.

That’s the one thing that scares me. Him+any snowbally ADC would be quite a dominant team because they’d just steam roll the team with massive amounts of cash. On a side note, I kinda hate the changes coming to jungle and def think they shouldn’t be implemented until preseason. Curious as to your thoughts on that, if that’s okay. c:

I'm not much of a Jungler so I've got no opinion there to be honest. I don't really like the mastery we have now for jungle. Idk why. I just mid and support mainly.

Or you could just ban the champ in selection. Just a thought,

Tbh I see so many people complaining about pike what about riven it’s been busted since whatever season and don’t come to me saying it’s all skill she gets one kill it’s over 1 taps everyone, pike is not broken at all executing ult well it’s probably the only busted thing about it blitz has cc like hell nobody says he is busted
