If you're Wildturtle, then maybe.

The idea is that she allows your team to engage rapidly, has good wave clear, and can block one important ability every so often with her spellshield. Honestly though, even if she is the best (which I personally don't believe), it isn't by a large enough amount to make much of a difference.

Play an ADC you enjoy, and you'll go much further imho.

Sivir is pretty tough to learn in my eyes. She has a big mana issue and your timing with spell shield has to be perfect. I'd say practice first.

Her ult is a free (besides mana) Talisman of Ascension active for her whole team. For competitive play this is huge but not the most ideal in solo queue where you usually just want a damage ult (or a more reliable engage with Kalista/Ashe. On the other hand she has waveclear, she can survive a lot of things with her spell shield but you need decent reflexes/ping to get the most of it and she doesn't have a real dash/gapcloser ability. I don't like her, I'd personally just stick to Graves/Corki/Jinx/Kalista/Tristana for soloqueue, Vayne/Draven if you kinda know what you're doing.

No, but she is a solid adc to learn.

Sivir have a free spellshield which is huge vs grabbing and snaring supports if you can time it. Her skillshot passes minions and she have a decent waveclear. Her ult allows her to be played with low mobility supports who can skip talisman for better things.

Just learn Caitlyn.
