Cant kill anyone in games..

Hi,

I took some time choosing a champion i like and one im comfortable with, i chose Irelia since i like how her skills work. I had a couple of breaks since i started playing this game, returned a few days ago and started playing 4-5 games a day. That varies between some ai games or blind pick but at any time i play blind pick. I always get killed in 1v1 battles or group fights. i could have 2 kills in a match or 4 kills while me deaths are around 5-8 per match.

My confidence went from ok to absolute zero so im kinda stuck what i should do to win more fights, i have some knowledge about the maps and certain champions i play agains and i do know alot about irelia.

My friends have spend alot of time in this game ( 3000 hours ) and they keep saying to have some confidence since i usually have alot of elo in other games like destiny.

If you could give me some tips, advice or anything. thanks alot,

Find a high level Irelia player on YouTube and follow their advice or decision making on different matchups, potential plays, or mistakes. Focus on killing minions until you gain a gold advantage that way. Play reactionary to your opponent until you can anticipate their moves or you are confident in your own.

Irelia requires set-up to function. Like getting stacks by jumping minions and then proc'ing conquerer off an engage you set up to win. Otherwise, she really isn't so strong.

learn a less difficult champion and work your way back up to irelia.

Honestly Irelia scales super well so if you arent sure if you can kill someone, or get a good trade then you might want to hold back and play safe. Now keep in mind you'll never know your limits if you dont push them, but for K/D/A and just not losing that should work. Just play and remember, no matter how bad your teamates flame if its norms then whatever
