Viktor's Passive is BS

This fuccboi's passive is that he gets an item that he can pay more money to augment his abilities, but it takes up a slot that he could use for literally anything else, corrupting his build. Rengar on the other hand, gets a free item at level one as well that goes in his trinket slot, acts as a ward, AND levels up FOR FREE all game while he pub stomps other champs. He still gets a REAL PASSIVE -> leaping out the cuts on unsuspecting players, making him the best jungler, no matter what his assigned role is. Wonder why nobody plays Viktor? It's because he's boring and awful. Wonder how to get people to play Viktor? Maybe give him an actual passive...

It also gives him what 180 AP?

Mana too, which is godlike in a mana-starved meta.

Oh Slag off, Viktor Get's probably the single best mage Item in the game for under cost, It's a damn good passive that plays into his character,

Viktor's passive is getting a massive AP item and upgrading literally all of his skills. Most champions don't get "you get massive damage and also get skill upgrades" as a passive.

Yes, but Kha'zix and Cass get them for free without taking an item slot. Just saying.

Kha'Zix only gets 3 evolutions normally, only gets them at 6, 11, and 16, no earlier, and does not get massive damage on all of his abilities for his passive.

Cass gets lots of AP + cdr, but her only actual skill change is getting a heal on E. She gets the damage, not the upgrading.

I didn't say Kha'zix and Cass had better passives, I said that "you get massive damage and also skill upgrades" applies to them. Ok, Kha only gets 3 evolutions and his passive damage probably doesn't count as massive; that said, his passive includes a slow, and he can proc it a number of times. Is full Hex Core better? Sure. Is it 3,000 gold better? Open question.

Same with Cass. Ok, only one of her skills actually upgrades, but lots of AP + CDR with no slot cost is nice. Intuition tells me her AP cap is higher late game, although I can't be bothered to math it out, and it costs her harassing (which she should be doing anyway) rather than gold.

Rubbish! There isn't a single other that gets skill upgrades built into THE HIGHEST AP ITEM IN THE GAME.

By definition, yes, there is only one item with the highest AP in the game. Still, show me the math that proves that Cass's +30% can't possibly give her more AP than Hex Core. Like I told Dusteon, final Hex Core is great, but I'm not sure it's 3,000 gold better than the competition.

her more AP than Hex Core and leave her totaly squishy in the process which sucks with her kit

the thing is not about which is stronger or which gives more ap viktors passive fits him and his kit cassio just got soething random which proves to be powerfull but i wouldnt call that the pinnacle of a serpent power

Knight SoIaire 1 votes

and they get gutted now and them because of it every time kha is able to actualy compete into the game with one of his evolutions he gets gutted on the other hand cassio is bouncinng fromm buffs to nerfs all the time

Give Rengar's Necklace 100 AD, make it buff his other abilities significantly (Q has better damage and can hit towers again, W empowered has far more healing, E empowered has a stun, R has no warning indication any more) and swap the stacking mechanics for buffs with a gold cost. 3k gold and you get both the original effects and the things I just listed!

Okay, now you have a case for his Necklace being better than Viktor's Hex Core. I feel like you don't understand just how significant the buffs Viktor gets from his item are. The level 18 AP bonus of 168 AP is only passed by a Mejai's with at least 19 stacks or a Seraph's with 3600 mana. Speaking of mana, he gets 500 mana, which is a massive boost to his ability to fuck your day up. And of course, his ability buffs are insanely potent. If I could buy this on other characters, I would take it on almost every AP mage there is. Think about it, it alleviates mana gating very effectively, it gives an outrageously high AP boost and it makes your abilities way better.

Tell me again what the problem is?

Before his rework, I would have agreed, Viktor's passive was useless.

Now however... you pay 3000 gold for an item that not only enhances all of your abilities, but gives you 168 AP and 500 mana. According to the Wiki, the item is worth 4654 gold not including the bonuses.

Quite frankly, you wouldn't want another item to fill the slot, and you'd like to get the item on other champions.

Rengar's thing doesn't edit all 4 abilities and give 160 AP that will scale with Death cap. VIktor is strong as fuck right now, and i have not lost lane since he has gotten reworked (except to Veigar for obv reasons). I usually have 400 ap with just the death cap and the augments (because of my runes and such). His fucking laser murders an entire team and if he gets his E and ult off its crazy how much damage is going down. Plus he has CC, a shield and can build lich bane.

If his passive worked like Rengar's they'd have to gut all the AP off it or you'd see 1200 AP Viktors. Only person allowed to have that much AP is Veigar.

Viktor is awesome and Glorious Evolution is beyond cool! He has other minor problems that need minor improvements

Increase his AA range by 25 Increase his Q range by 25 Increase his W range by 200 (or give this effect when you upgrade W) Increase his E range by 75

nope viktor is fine he isnt meta because assasins are allower the place but he is fine

riot was experimenting with his item being a trinket but it didnt feel right viktor is suposed to be a technicam who evolwes his machinery and a full slot item that became the strongest item in the game represented that better
