what is the point in queuing for roles?

After playing dynamic queue with a friend and getting your main role every time, even when my friend didn't have my secondary role as their main to block me from getting it, i find it stupid to queue for a role in solo that you want in your main role when you always get your secondary role. I always queue for adc then jungle but when i play dynamic queue solo i never get adc and its pretty stupid on riots part to even have a queue system with what seems like a priority picking system (i.e. primary pick bot, secondary pick jungle). I'm curious as to how I can get adc even when i solo que because so far i have yet to get it.

I'd try putting mid as you secondary. Jungle is probably right behind support in roles needed the most. One of the thinks i miss from team builder, is the indication of what roles were in/out of demand.

yea that would be nice to have like a little thing that tells what roles are needed most but thanks someone in one of my games to me to do that also

That's what Fill is for, though. Just Fill for a few games, and you'll figure out that no one wants to play Support.

Honest suggestion? Learn another role. Learn to love the Jungle. If you want low queue times, choose Jungle/Support.

If you're willing to wait up to 10 minutes (I hear) for ADC, choose ADC/Mid.

I quit playing ADC a long time ago. I prefer to control the flow of the fights, because in the lower Ranked games it's safer to control initiates if you want to climb the ladder. I choose Top/Jungle so I can play tanks. Used to play Support a lot, but I get tired of bad ADCs. Course, as Jungle, everyone blames you when they lose their lane. That isn't much fun.

I've played adc since like season 3 and its by far my favorite role except in the current meta because everyone seems to camp bot lane but i like jungle i just dont like it in low level because everyone thinks youre responsible for winning their lane i know how to play all other roles just not as well

I understand. Just choose Mid as your secondary, and be prepared to wait a little while.

unfortunately even that idea doesnt work now i put mid as secondary and get matched with duo queue bot lanes 95% of the time i got adc once yesterday
