A solution to taking a heavy loss and AFKing or trolls during Ranked gaming

Honestly, during my promotionals and even during the grind to climb up the ranks, I've had a incredibly high amount of afk's. I believe I had 3 during my promotions and remember at least 2 recently, and it's really really frustrating. I'm sure everyone knows the struggle, that in a team based game, when 1/5 of your team is missing, to even just prevent side pushing It is very hard to win (not impossible, but unarguably hard). I mean sure during normals, its not a big deal, but during ranked not only is there more at stake. Of course people can argue that if your really good you can move up eventually, but it really does ruin your momentum, especially when it seems to happen quite often.

Well I heard in Heroes of the storm, if someone afk's then a bot takes the place of the AFK and farms so if the person does reconnect instead of being level 1 with little gold they would get a bit of a head start. I thought this was a genius idea, especially, because life does happen and sometimes you internet gets compromised from something out of your control and the whole team suffers.

I think something like this could be a really big improvement from League. Of course there are things to work out, like what if everyone targets the bot and gets fed. However, I think there are logical solutions. For example for that problem specifically, i think if the reward money stays relatively low like inhibitor minions, than it would still be worth it to have the bot on your team. I also think sometimes just that extra player to guard a lane or to just be there as a shield for a team fight can really change the situation, but sometimes that opportunity is taken away from an afk for whatever reason.

Not sure, if any of these suggestion forums make a difference, but I thought it was a good proposal and wanted to see what others thoughts were on the matter. And if anyone else experiences the frustrating effects of afks as often as me.
