Does Clash mean the end of the Rotating game modes?

I miss Ascension, Poro King, and Nexus Siege.

I miss Hexakill...

Clash is separate from RGMs and probably entirely different people working on it.

RGM's are just semi on hold since they're working on making fancy new ones (and bringing old ones up to speed) instead of doing the same ones over and over.

I do miss Ascension. My favorite thing about it is that it was a stress free way to play new or reworked champs. Especially if you otherwise wouldn't play them.

I loved Ascension!!! I played that one nonstop.

I would rather they made that a permanent game mode swapping out ARAM

riot is working on new game modes so that its not constantly looping a few old ones. There is suppose to be a new one I think next patch thats bildgewater themed

Yep, as a lot of players have stated, Clash is not going to be replacing rotating game modes (RGM). Clash is live and so that's on the pedestal. Later, there will be the Pyke's release that will most like include a few missions, probably regarding Bilgewater lore, champs, and the reskinned ARAM map. ARAM will also be experiencing huge gameplay changes that players will be looking forward to playing. It'd almost be like a new game mode.

TL;DR: We won’t be running a RGM with every patch anymore. We’re going to continue to run the most popular modes, but our main focus will be on creating more new modes to launch alongside events as well as experimenting with older modes.

No, Clash isn't replacing RGM. Clash is meant to be a sort of mini LCS for us mortals.
