Hey Guys,

so i#ve been playing Garen for a while now and these new runes got me confused ..... What would be the best rune build for a Garen build like this ? item 3147 item 3814 item 3071 item 3142 item 3083 item 3009

Full lethality build with a bit of Health from the Warmogs

Thx

Well , i suggest taking resolve/precision with every stat giving rune possible than full damage . Otherwise , you'll be too fucking squishy ... And that was the beauty of Ass Destroyer Garen ... Take scaling arm/mr runes + AD/Lethality and go !

if youre going for that build, either predator or dark harvest.

your goal just seems to be to get on top of someone and almost 1 shot him with your q, right? both keystones should help with that.

id suggest fully committing to the build and replacing the cleaver with triforce, and the warmogs with steraks. dont be discouraged by the little bit of mana on triforce. the sheen procs are worth it, and even the attack speed can be useful.

at lvl 18 with a steraks gage, that sheen proc will add just above 400 damage to your q and your auto attack weaves.

when youre not up against tanks, but only fighters and squishies, there are good reasons to take triforce over cleaver. burst potential on squishies, higher movement speed, powerful damage against turrets, improved sustained damage between spins.

you should only ever run this when youre up against relatively squishy teams though.

So, is Season 8 DMG Garen all about the Q then? Or does his spin still play a part? I've only tried Electrocute so far, which goes well with the classic auto-Q-E combo, but I'm intrigued as to where the strength of Dark Harvest and Predator lie with Garen.

id say an ad build like that was always about the q burst. the infinity edge build does mostly the same thing, only that youre praying to rngsus for a crit on your q.

when i look at the duskblade in your build thats the first thing that comes to mind. catching squishies out in the jungle and jumpscaring them with a q into ult 2 shot.

doesnt mean your spin is going to be useless. its also going to deal a pretty hefty amount of damage with that much ad.

not really the q , i go more for the E Spin melts the health like crazy with or without armor. but ill try that build you suggested :) Thanks !
