Leveling up a new account is a terrible, toxic experience
Hi guys,
So I want to preface this with I am not a great player, usually in a season after placements I place between B3 and B1, during the season I painfully grind to S5 or S4. This season with the changes such as BE and leveling I wanted to see what leveling up was like from scratch and to see if without spending any RP if I had the BE to buy enough champs at level 30 to jump straight into ranked. (I'm level 15 now and it looks like it will be easy)
I see two main problems.
-
People are rude as heck, mean and not helpful and the the majority of these people definitely have accounts that are 30+. Most of my game play in lowly S5 ranked there's very few people deserving of a report in comparison to my games on my lower level account. On my lower level account there's often people deserving of reports and when I report people I usually end up getting that message someone's been punished on my recent reports.

Again I am not good at this game, I'm a silver 5 player but really I am a bit of part of the problem here since I'm making a new account when I have an understanding of the game already. The variance in skill is amazing, I'm level 15 on the account and was in a game with a diamond 4 player but even when we don't count diamond players queuing with level 10 players so they can go stomp unskilled players. https://puu.sh/yEvIf/09d1c4f12e.png
There's often tons of flaming on the team from one "smurf" to another "smurf", even worse when there's an actual new player who is low level and they end up being in lane vs a gold riven main top lane they just get stomped. Someone on the team flames the crap out of them way worse flaming for feeding then when people feed in silver.
My lane opponents are also often way more skilled then the people I play versus in ranked. It feels like there's a lot of people that make new accounts whether it's to stomp noobs and what not.
I know I'm bad and not terribly good at this game, but I can't imagine what it's like for a brand new player in the current state of the game.
