Any chance we can see what determines grades?

So, would anyone else like to see what determines their grades? I mean, it's already kinda nice to know how you're doing compared to other players of that champ and role, but I would like to know WHAT I'm doing that's better and what's worse. If I got an A I want to know where I fell short of reaching an S so I could improve on that.

It is usually cs or having less than 2 deaths in ratio to a long game.

No, there is no chance. There is a reason they did it. Giving out updated, detailed information on what determines grading would only encourage people to make decisions to achieve those standards rather than doing things to win the match, which is the point of the match. And there's already people out their handicapping their teams trying to get those stupid promo chests. They don't need the encouragement.

"If I got an A I want to know where I fell short of reaching an S so I could improve on that." It's already very clear what a player needs to do. All they need to do is play somewhat above, or at least get results above, the standard of play for that champion in that bracket and the S comes easily from that after a few games. It's nothing particularly hard or hidden.

If riot wanted to reward you for playing the game, they wouldnt have tied hextech crafting AND champion mastery to a grading system in the first place. Having the actual numbers allows us to get more with less effort, and also adds to transparency. Id love to know the leader boards as well for some champions; lucian as an example. If an S-rank is in the top 10% of all lucian games played in some amount of time, i want to know what i have to shoot for.

And since the reward you get for playing the game is IP, this is a moot point.

The first problem that you are failing to get is that there are no "actual numbers". The criteria are dynamic and changing based upon the standards set by the players in that bracket of play. And the main problem is that you are not getting it is not supposed to be transparent and that is entirely the point.

You provide a great example of why this has been made that way. Players are supposed to try, players are supposed to put in a full effort. Players are supposed to be doing things and making choices to win the match for the team. Players are supposed to be trying to win and getting high mastery grades when they succeed at that. But instead, we get players who refuse to help and choose to lose games because they want their K/D to pretend they are better than they are, we get players who handicap their team because they want to cheat more of chests out of the system. And what he is asking for is to encourage that behaviour. Encouraging players to screw people over because they want to put in a game "with less effort" and play to try game the system to get more of those damn, stupid advertisement chests even if it means losing the game. That's why they can't show numbers; those people who want "less effort" are why we can't have nice things.
